Custom produced in any size or design, troughs, wash troughs, collection and effluent (launder) are constructed by MFG Water Treatment Products Company utilizes the CM lay-up process using advanced FRP materials. Specifically designed for use in water and wastewater treatment plants and other applications where highly corrosive materials or chemical applications are used, the FRP production process and material matrix provide finished products with strong integral stiffness and excellent beam strength.

MFG-WTP troughs are available with fixed or adjustable flanged ends or through the wall mounting with integrally molded water stops. With or without adjustable weir plates, the troughs inner surfaces are all finished with a smooth gel-coat.

Available in a variety of sizes with round or flat bottoms, circular or straight to fit tank configuration, the troughs are used as wash troughs or launders in the back washing of gravity filters and as collection troughs and effluent troughs in clarifiers, aeration tanks and settling basins.
