Weirs, Baffles, Flat Sheets
WEIR PLATES are used to control the flow of water into the launders or troughs. The flow can be increased or decreased by raising or lowering the weir. The size of the "V" or notch also relates to the flow rate.
The weir plates are matched-metal-die-molded with nine standard notch configurations and are available in a variety of lengths up to 12 feet.
BAFFLE PLATES (or, scum baffles) serve as a stop plate in front of the weir or trough preventing floating solids from flowing over the weir or trough.
The baffle plates are compression molded in lengths up to 12 feet with flanged baffles available in longer lengths up to 20 feet.
BAFFLE SUPPORTS hold the baffle in position and elevation as well as attaching to the supporting part or structure.
FLAT SHEETS are used in fabrication of specialty products.
